Write, create, tell your story.
Who cares what others think.
If they don’t like you, unfollow you, or even make fun of you, they aren’t meant for you (at least not right now), anyways.
We all have different experiences that have shaped us, they’re all worth telling.
You may not be for everyone, but you are definitely a beautiful person with so many unique experiences to share.
Even if you have a story you don’t think is worth telling, you have a unique set of perspectives based on your own experiences, your own unique insights based on this, and your own musings, which btw, is a book in itself 😉
You truly do and you will inspire the ones meant for you and influence the ones you don’t think are meant for you to think, dream and reflect. You may trigger the ones who need to hear your story, to see your project come to life while you make the impact you are meant to.
This is definitely how I’m able to connect with others in the online world, through my own personal branding and just, in general! I try to keep it as real as possibly by being as intentionally genuine and open towards connecting with real people in real time and space.
You have your own beautiful, quirky and poignant insights about how you see things, and even your views on the world and by sharing that with others, I believe you will connect with likeminded others –– meant for you! Everyone of my opportunities has come from sharing in the online world, or just being open and real as much as possible.
What I’ve come to know as the truth in my own time and life, is that each and everyone of us has a unique purpose and we’re all meant to share our lives with each other. What a beautiful thing that we’re all walking books in disguise with stories that would make others smile, laugh, cry and be in awe …if only you’d write, create the project, or share with the world.
And the ones not meant for you? If they don’t like you, your words or are triggered by your story, they aren’t for you anyways –– or at least not at this time. Even the ones you are afraid to trigger are the ones who may be who need to hear your story, the most!
You have unique gifts, talents and a story to tell.
Absolutely every single one of us have a book inside of us.
Whatever your project, idea or creative idea is, whether it’s bring up your business branding presence, sharing on your personal feed, or just starting to write your story in the book you know you need to write –– just do it. Just start. Take out the pen, pull out the mouse pad, wake up at 6am with a cup of coffee. And. Just. Start.
This is what the morning pages have done for me, it has helped me to see that we truly all have a story worth telling, we are all meant to put out meaningful work, whatever that looks like. It’s all so healing in the process, not just for you, but for others. Doctors, lawyers and all other more professional industries included should be inspired to create as much as they can, I think we all need to follow that inspiration inside of us. The automatic writing technique from the Morning Pages has been a huge catalyst towards my own inspiration, growth as an artist and writer, and fuelling towards my dreams while seeing what’s been holding me back. I was telling my Mom about this last night and I could see she understood that this is a powerful technique. To learn more about this, follow the link here to check out my blog post all about the morning pages and how the Artist’s Way journey is slowly changing my life.
For everyone and myself included, we all have to trust that we are “destined” to make our own luck in the projects we know we are meant to make, in the creative pursuits that bring us to life, and to shine outwards and inspire (and impact others) as we do, so!
At a certain point I just realized that I had to begin the project (e.g., Messy Minds or art I wanted to create) if I ever wanted to make the impact I knew I could make.
So post that blog, write the outline of your story or book, and just start doing it! I promise, you will be scared, but you certainly won’t regret it. Creativity is never wasted.
And we’re all so capable of it, and each of us are born artists –– I believe, in our own right.
